The Role

Location: Cracow, Poland
Job Grade: Global Grade 9

This role is central to delivering value and efficiency through best-in-class purchasing processes, stakeholder collaboration, and supplier management.

As part of our Procurement function, you’ll work closely with Business Requestors, Category Buyers, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth purchase-to-pay operations while supporting the implementation of global and local category strategies.


Principle Accountabilities

  • Manage the end-to-end purchase process for selected materials and services, guiding business requestors and ensuring compliance with global procurement standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and suppliers to understand needs, deliver optimal outcomes, and ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Execute transactional procurement activities including supplier/materials master data management, purchase order creation, price checks, order monitoring, and invoice discrepancy resolution.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to deliver a stable, efficient Purchase-to-Pay process and accurate reporting (e.g., PR to PO reports).
  • Support the implementation of global and local category strategies while promoting awareness of the role and value of Global Procurement across Imperial Brands.
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to drive value, efficiency, process standardisation, and operational excellence.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Transactional Procurement Operations.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level) and German (C1 level), both written and spoken.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a global team.
