About the role

You will support the development of new or existing products within the OND category, both traditional and Modern OND, to meet marketing, legislative and internal policies, adding value to the consumer and being superior or at least on par with competition. You are responsible for the product and blend specification maintenance and will be also supporting global and local functions in all product related questions. 
The team will consist of an international team of PRCons Specialist based in our Skruf Snus factory in Sävsjö and in our Polish manufacturing site in Radom.

The responsibilities also include:

• Submission, maintenance and control of product and blend specifications (BOM’s) in PLM.
• Ensure constant product design for high product quality.
• Monitoring product performance and undertaking agreed maintenance actions to ensure product compliance.
• Implement and apply cost management activities, minimize complexity, ensure brand consistency.
• Preparation of trial runs including planning with the factories, results evaluation and documentation management.
• Participation in benchmarking evaluation, market analysis and competitor survey within region.
• Coordination of product relevant projects and its documentation 
• Continuously seek for process and system improvements.
• Supervision of an international PRCons OND team, providing informal mentoring/training to junior members of the team.
• Collaborate with purpose with internal and external stakeholders, support I2L projects.

Your skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Science, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent. Basic knowledge and skills of product design, final product and manufacturing processes is viewed as essential as well as pronounced capabilities in project management and proven skills in analytical thinking and problem solving. To be successful in the role, the candidate must have the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation and be a cross-functional team player, fluent English is key.
