As a Senior Finance Controlling Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering Finance and Supply Chain strategies within the Manufacturing environment. Principle Accountabilities

  • To perform and review Controlling activities across Planning (Budgets & Forecasts) and Reporting in the Manufacturing Supply Chain Business, as well as Legal Entity (P&L and Balance Sheet) and agreeing assumptions and explaining variances
  • To influence and support the Supply Chain Functions (Local/Global level) with providing accurate and timely value adding analysis and actionable insights
  • To provide expert Finance knowledge across Finance and with Supply Chain Functions on Projects and Ad Hocs
  • To identify and drive continuous improvement and simplifications in Finance Supply Chain processes and systems
  • To continually improve and maintain Compliance in the Supply Chain Operations, ensuring risks are identified and actioned, taking into account ongoing changes in the Supply Chain, Finance and External business environment
  • To support the roll out of SAP S 4/Hana with involvement in the project, thereafter driving the adoption benefits from the usage of the system, as well as providing cover as required across the Finance team

Skills and Experience Required

  • Professional practical working experience, gained in Supply Chain Finance (ideally Manufacturing), ACCA/CIMA qualified; Higher education completed in Economics/Finance
  • Finance: very good knowledge of Financial Controlling and Accounting (i.e. Production Accounting), with appreciation of experience in Tax (i.e. Transfer Pricing); working in a multinational organisation
  • Ability to quickly understand new challenges, learn new tasks, think analytically; and implement next steps resulting from that
  • Communication: effectively convey Finance matters in a clear and simple manner across the Business. Very good English Language
  • Collaboration: demostrated Business Partnering skills, ability to work independantly and proactively infuence and support the Supply Chain and Finance Function
  • IT: excellent working experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, demonstated ability to work with and simplify large amounts of data, develop and tailor reports from ERP systems and experience developing and using BI tool
