We have an exciting new opportunity for a Professional Services Category Support.
This newly created, hybrid role is based in Cracow GBS and involves close collaboration with Global Procurement colleagues in the UK. You will support the governance, compliance, and strategic coordination of the Professional Services category, playing a crucial part in our global procurement transformation. This position is ideal for someone with a strong procurement background and exceptional communication skills, confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and thriving in a collaborative, international environment.
You will take a leading role in facilitating strategic meetings, coordinating internal governance processes, and supporting the delivery of reporting, analysis, and project tracking aligned with global procurement objectives.
Principal Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end governance of the professional services review process, ensuring alignment with global programme objectives and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global stakeholders to ensure professional services engagements are strategic, value-driven, and policy-compliant.
- Deliver high-quality, actionable reporting on spend, compliance, and supplier performance using tools like Excel and Power BI.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
- Support the development and execution of procurement strategies that include savings targets, ESG objectives, and supplier relationship management.
- Act as a central point of contact for the professional services category, ensuring transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement across Imperial’s supplier network.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in governance, compliance, or procurement functions, ideally within a multinational or consultancy environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with proven stakeholder management across geographies and cultures.
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI essential.
- Commercially astute, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a global matrix organisation with diverse teams and functional leads.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages and international experience are a plus.
