As the Logistics & Customer Service Manager, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations and customer service efforts in CEE markets. You will manage relationships with logistics service providers, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team of logistics and customer service professionals. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating daily shipments, managing inventory levels, and resolving logistical issues promptly in our cluster.
In this role, you will work closely with logistics service providers to maintain smooth operations and ensure compliance with all regulations. You will travel up to 30% of the time to key markets, fostering strong relationships with local teams and service providers. Principal Accountabilities
- Oversee secondary logistics operations, ensuring efficient distribution, stock management, and collaboration with logistics service providers
- Maintain full compliance with tax regulations, track & trace requirements, excise duties, and customs procedures across multiple markets
- Manage a logistics budget, driving cost optimisation and overseeing contract negotiations
- Ensure high customer service levels by optimising order fulfilment, managing returns, and resolving logistics-related complaints
- Lead and develop a team of logistics managers and customer service professionals across multiple markets
- Drive process improvements and contribute to the ongoing transformation of the Global Supply Chain strategy
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong experience in logistics leadership within FMCG, manufacturing, or a third-party logistics environment
- Proven track record of managing multi-location teams and developing high-performing professionals
- Experience in budget management and cost control, including contract negotiations
- Fluency in English is essential, any other language will be advantageous
- Knowledge of compliance requirements, including excise tax, customs regulations, and track & trace legislation
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions including market managers, finance, procurement, and external logistics providers
