In this pivotal role, you’ll be the voice and face of our organization, building bridges with government bodies, industry leaders, media, and trade associations. You’ll drive our corporate narrative, champion our values, and ensure our policies resonate with the world around us. Reporting directly to the Corporate Affairs Director, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our public presence and influencing key legislative and business developments.
Principle Accountabilities
- Strategic Legislative Monitoring and Government Relations: Oversee the monitoring of legislative processes and regulatory changes, providing strategic insights and recommendations. Co-lead the development and execution of government relations strategies, including engagement with government officials and policymakers.
- Lobbying and Advocacy: Support the preparation of lobbying documents in collaboration with other departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Draft and review official statements for the company and business associations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support CA Director within high-level cooperation within NMA, prepare strategic official statements, proactively monitor legislation and media, analyze data from external partners.
- Community and NGO Engagement: Address inquiries from local NGOs and individuals, ensuring responses align with the company’s strategic objectives. Oversee the company’s website, ensuring timely and strategic updates.
- Media Monitoring and Reporting: Oversee the preparation of daily media monitoring and weekly media reports, ensuring they provide strategic value to senior management.
- Internal Presentations and regular internal updates: Draft and review CLA insights into internal presentations for senior management team meetings, ensuring they effectively communicate strategic objectives. Write and review texts for internal communications related to external affairs.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Economics, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, or Sociology
- Government Relations: experience working with state institutions and services in Poland and EU
- Crisis management: ability to act quickly and appropriately in stressful situations; diplomatic skills: high personal culture and diplomacy
- Communication Skills: effective verbal and written communication, eloquence, and openness
- Socio-Political Knowledge: understanding of socio- political situations and state structures, including the EU
- Media Relations: knowledge of media and communication tools, experience with public relations
