Technical Architect

Location: Amsterdam

Grade: 6

As a B2B Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing B2B technical architectures while providing platform guidance. You will ensure the integrity and scalability of technical solutions, leveraging existing platform components and reusable services. Working closely with project teams, enterprise architects, and vendors, you will drive best practices and innovation in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Principal Accountabilities

• Lead technical design, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, and proof-of-concepts for Salesforce solutions.
• Ensure that the platform is scalable and aligns with overall business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to technical teams, vendors, and enterprise architects to enhance platform performance.
• Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance on domain architecture best practices.
• Conduct technical architecture reviews to ensure solutions meet business requirements and align with internal roadmaps.
• Assist project leadership in identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.

Skills & Experience Required

• Salesforce Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, integration patterns, and architecture best practices.
• Certifications: Minimum Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I & II, and Sales/Service Cloud Consultant certifications. Preference for Consumer Goods Cloud, TPM, and Architect domain certification.
• Technical Skills: Extensive experience in systems development, database design, and data technologies.
• Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong analytical skills, ability to engage stakeholders, and influence decision-making.
• Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in dynamic environments.
• Industry Experience: Experience in FMCG or a similar fast-paced sector is a plus.
