We are looking for a Regulatory Scientific Strategy Manager to join our team on a parental leave cover, helping shape the scientific strategies that drive Next Generation Product (NGP) launches, with a focus on oral nicotine delivery (OND) and heated products.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of cross-functional collaboration, transforming complex scientific data into clear, compelling insights that strengthen regulatory submissions and advance our harm reduction narrative. Your expertise will ensure that robust datasets and actionable strategies are delivered on time, supporting both global product launches and broader organizational goals.

Principle Accountabilities
- Deep understanding of NGP product categories, global regulations, and required scientific data, focusing on OND and heated products.
- Lead the development and delivery of robust scientific data packages for regulatory submissions and harm reduction engagement, including US Pre-Market Tobacco Applications.
- Excel in cross-functional collaboration, coordinating multiple teams across departments and global locations.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders (Labs, Product Safety, Harm Reduction, Scientific Writers, Consultants, CROs) to define and deliver required scientific data aligned with business plans.
- Manage pre-clinical and clinical projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, costs, and quality targets are met while mitigating risks and dependencies.
- Generate and maintain datasets and analyses to support regulatory submissions and harm reduction narratives, applying data bridging strategies as new scientific evidence emerges.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong knowledge of data requirements for global regulatory notifications and dossiers.
- Experience managing projects, programmes, or studies in a relevant industry or subject area.
- Proven ability to build cooperative relationships with diverse stakeholders in collaborative and directive environments.
- Commercial experience negotiating and managing external suppliers.
- Self-motivated, proactive, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Assertive and able to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
