In this instrumental role, you’ll be the vital link between product development and manufacturing - ensuring new innovations transition seamlessly from concept to full-scale production as part of our ambitious growth and innovation agenda.


Principle Accountabilities

  • Support the development and optimisation of processing technologies for Next Generation Products (NGPs), including e-liquids, Heated Tobacco, and Oral Nicotine, from prototype to commercial scale.
  • Design and implement manufacturing processes, ensuring consistency and quality through identification of critical parameters and in-process controls.
  • Maintain and commission lab and pilot-scale equipment, including conducting risk assessments and supporting investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as engineering, procurement, H&S, IP, and quality to deliver project objectives and assess new technologies.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user requirement specifications, and contribute to project meetings with updates and innovative ideas.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure safe and effective execution of tasks, and support scale-up activities with global and local engineering teams.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Hold a BSc in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively with purpose and integrity.
  • Take ownership of tasks with confidence, embracing authenticity and inclusivity.
  • Possess experience in prototype development, with strong planning and execution skills.
  • Exhibit effective time management, report writing, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and the application of new techniques
