About the Role:

Location: Hamburg, Germany
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that pecuniary settlement of remunerations and company pensions for employees/pensioners is done properly and timely for German locations in Hamburg and Langenhagen
- Lead, develop and motivate the Payroll department including change management
- Disciplinary and technical management of 7 employees in Hamburg as well as technical management of 4 employees in Langenhagen
- System responsibility for SAP HCM
- Implementing and providing legal, collective agreement and operational changes in SAP HCM
- Checking and coordinating the import of SAP support packages
- Ensuring the correct data transfer from Workday (leading HR information system) to SAP HCM
- Planning of payroll activities (annual calendar) and responsibility for their execution
- Ensure pecuniary settlement for different groups of employees and pensioners
- Responsible detection of HR-relevant provisions on several closing dates (31.03./30.06./30.09.)
- Ensure on scheduled transfers from Payroll through own bank-interface
- Ensure that accounting of International Mobile Employees (IME) is done properly in collaboration with the Global Mobility Team in Bristol (UK) and external consultants
- Coordinate collaboration between Payroll and P&C Service Delivery / P&C Partnering Services / works council
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements (tax, social security) and support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance and data protection for Payroll / P&C
- Conducting various evaluations as part of P&C Analytics
- Planning and responsible execution of P&C-projects and SAP HCM projects
Who we are looking for
- Commercial education/studies of Business Administration
- Payroll Accounting, Tax Law, Social Security Law, Labour Law
- Leadership skills
- SAP HCM
- Very good oral and written mode of expression
- Very good command of English language (verbally and written)
- Experience in project work
