Principle Accountabilities

  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of tobacco with robust business continuity plans
  • Deliver high-quality leaf purchases aligned with Imperial’s standards
  • Drive cost performance and competitive advantage in sourcing
  • Manage supplier and government relationships to ensure responsible sourcing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimise blend quality, cost, and supply chain efficiency
  • Contribute to strategic updates and long-term sourcing plans, including ESG and innovation goals

Skills and Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience in tobacco procurement with strong technical and quality knowledge
  • Proven ability to lead change across supply chains and stakeholder groups
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal leadership skills
  • Data-driven decision-maker with a global business mindset
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% (up to 3 weeks at a time)
