The Role

As an IOS (Imperial Operating System) Manager you will be responsible for driving the performance of the factory by delivering the IOS implementation across the Radom site.  


Principle Accountabilities

  • Owning the deployment & implementation of Stop the Stops (StS) and implementation & governance of IOS pillars in our production site to deliver breakthrough results, enhance OEE, MTBF by building self-sufficiency at site & Business Unit Levels
  • You will ensure the site expands StS to all lines, promoting a standardized, efficient and sustainable operational model across the company.
  • In close collaboration with global IOS Management, you will create and deliver an IOS Site Deployment Plan
  • Build capabilities of organization around pillars, daily management systems and equipment owners
  • You will lead the site pillar review process – ensure PDCA being followed
  • Responsible for IOS promotion, communication & education
  • Coach site teams to ensure sustainable ways of working
  • Work closely with other sites to reapply best practices

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven track record as a qualified IWS (or equivalent) practitioner with extensive experience in implementing IWS (Integrated Work System) methodologies
  • Significant operational experience in IWS (or IOS), with the skills required for the specific phase of the plant.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role within the tobacco or FMCG sector
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders
  • Exceptional skills in teaching, coaching, and developing others, with a focus on CI methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, confront issues assertively, and convey information clearly.
  • A deep passion for the work, with the ability to inspire and help others see the vision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify and eliminate process losses.
  • Credibility on the production floor, with a hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with teams performing the work.
  • Active and engaged on the production floor, continuously coaching and building capability.
  • Willingness to travel and work with other sites within Imperial.
  • Fluency in English & Polish both spoken and written, is essential.
