We’re looking for a strategic and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our dynamic regional team in Bristol, reporting into the Head of FP&A for Europe.
At Imperial Brands, you’ll be part of a dynamic team of 25,000 colleagues worldwide, driving performance and shaping strategy across European markets. This role will be key in establishing and maintaining pragmatic planning processes and insightful analytics, providing regular and ad hoc information to the regional team and key stakeholders. It will also identify, plan and drive continuous improvement projects, raising the efficiency, quality and profile of the Regional FP&A team’s activities and outputs.
Principle Accountabilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across clusters and markets, ensuring alignment with Group Finance and Regional leadership teams.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting and insightful analysis to understand commercial performance, challenge assumptions, and support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement by critically reviewing financial processes, leveraging GBS capabilities, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and I&I teams to provide a cohesive view of business performance and support regional objectives.
- Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, using scenario planning and business case analysis to build confidence in financial plans.
- Support and develop team members, promoting best practice sharing, capability building, and talent progression across the finance function.
Skills and Experience Required
- Articulate and confident communicator with finance and non-finance groups and individuals, building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Highly numerate with a proven ability in analytical problem solving - able to analyse and interpret data and identify trends and explain to stakeholders.
- Highly organised with clear setting of priorities and time management skills.
- Solution oriented, intellectually curious and critical thinker with an ability synthesise multiple data sources and succinctly summarise.
- Emotionally resilient with energy, drive and ambition to succeed.
- Qualified and experienced accountant with an appropriate professional body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
