The Role

This role is part of the Group tax reporting team which is responsible for delivering the annual cycle of external and internal tax reporting including for half-year, and year-end external financial reporting, and effective tax rate (‘ETR’) and cash-tax forecasting. In addition, the GTR team delivers the group’s annual Pillar2 reporting and support CbCR process.


Principle Accountabilities

  • The preparation of the group’s effective tax rate calculations, deferred tax calculations, and Group Accounts tax disclosures in line with IFRS requirements.
  • Coordinating the tax reporting data collection from subsidiaries.
  • Reporting, monitoring and analysing the Group’s tax charge.
  • Supporting the subsidiaries in any tax reporting related issues.
  • In-year and future year ETR and cash-tax forecasting.
  • Managing audit process.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong accounting expertise, able to act as focal point between different stakeholders, multitask and meet fixed deadlines.
  • Master’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Experience in an international environment hands-on accounting, tax reporting & compliance or financial or statutory reporting is a plus,
  • Experience in CIT calculations, for local and group purpose,
  • Deep understanding and practical experience in complex group tax reporting and consolidation
  • Strong computer skills, particular experience with Excel and SAP,
  • Professional proficiency of English,
  • ACCA qualification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Critical mindset to be able to challenge tools and processes in use while promoting business development.
  • Ability to multitask and deal with time constraints while effectively managing deadlines.
  • A sound business sense with excellent numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and at stakeholders’ side.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and drive for excellence.
