The Role
The Procurement Excellence team has a global remit and its objective is to embed best practices and drive, where possible, consistency of standards across procurement activities.
The Supplier Relationship Management Specialist is responsible for supporting 1 of the 4 pillars within the Procurement Capability team: Supplier Relationship Management (the others 3 pillars being Procurement Systems, Data and Reporting; Process & Policy; and ESG).
The Supplier Relationship Management team is responsible for establishing IB’s Supplier Relationship Management approach, including the set up of a Supplier Relationship Management Programme and framework.
This role will report to the Procurement Excellence SRM Manager, you'll be instrumental in embedding and driving consistency of Supplier Relationship management practices with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Principle Accountabilities
- Support the development of and promote the SRM strategy & approach.
- Maintain the SRM programme internal & external communications plan.
- Support the launch event of SRM programme & annual event and assisting to coordinate organisation of such events.
- Maintain the supplier segmentation analysis based on value add and risk optimisation.
- Maintain Supplier Performance reporting framework and KPIs (cost, delivery, compliance, quality, innovation, social responsibility) together with stakeholders and process owners.
- Support/coordinate periodic business review meetings ensuring all stakeholders have input information and the meeting deck is reviewed and agreed in advance of the meeting.
- Identify, analyse, and monitor issues and benefits from suppliers.
- Collate SRM data and support the creation and maintenance of SRM dashboard to provide visibility over SRM activities, outputs and benefits.
- provide visibility of supplier risks to enable prioritisation & identification of contingencies and business continuity plans to be fed into business review meetings.
- Support Procurement colleagues with knowledge and understanding of supplier relationship management approach & tools.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in supplier relationship management.
- Experience in contract & supplier risk management.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in data management and analysis.
- Strong English language skills – written and verbal.
- Good communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
- Adapt at working in both team environment and solo.
- Driven, collaborative, focused & accountable.
- Adapt at dealing with stakeholders on varied levels.
- Excellent Microsoft Office abilities (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
