The Role
Reporting to the GCO Head of Regional Integrated Brand Governance for Europe, this critical role leads the I2L process happening in both regions for all the projects on the initiative masterplan, and guide all the teams in the region and cluster to deliver the I2L gate & stage requirements, representing the regional in the project management with category innovation team.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
- Oversee the regional portfolio of initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy and commercial targets.
- Maintain and update the Initiative Master Plan (IMP) and ensure accurate reporting in Beacon.
- Validate business cases and assess portfolio sufficiency.
- Collaborate with brand and regional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Project Management
- Lead cross-functional teams through the I2L lifecycle, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Manage project timelines, risks, interdependencies, and documentation.
- Ensure governance stage-gate readiness and compliance.
- Support project leads in preparing for and presenting at governance forums.
Governance & Forum Management
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks (e.g., CIF, Pre-IPM, IPM, RIF).
- Conduct stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and decision readiness.
- Prepare and lead governance forums, record minutes, and track actions.
- Submit all required documentation and ensure adherence to governance routes.
System & Process Excellence
- Drive adoption of Beacon as the single source of truth for initiative management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure seamless hand-offs between forums and consistent application of I2L/IBBM processes.
Skills and Experience Required
Project Management:
- Experience in managing and delivering successful projects
- Expertise in planning, executing, and overseeing projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Competent current innovation development processes including Agile.
Governance and Compliance:
- In-depth knowledge of governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to ensure compliance and manage risks effectively.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find effective solutions.
- Decisive and able to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Thorough, disciplined, well-structured and pro-active approach to tasks.
Financial Acumen:
- Understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Ability to manage program finances and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Change Management:
- Experience in leading and managing change initiatives.
- Ability to adapt to evolving organizational needs and environments.
- Experience in delivering successful change programmes and training to a large group of stakeholders across multiple locations.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to capture, analyse and portray information in a clear and concise format. E.g. summarising stage gate project documents and building slides for SGF, SID.
- A good team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Cultural Awareness:
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
- Understanding of regional dynamics and local governance issues.
