The Role
Location: Hamburg
Group: ETV 24 - GG7 depending on qualification and experience
Principal Accountabilities
- Manage and optimize flow of products in assigned area of supply chain network, focusing on maximizing availability with minimized inventory impact, including excess risk reduction, while striving to minimize total Supply/Operations chain cost
- Close cooperation with Global and Cluster/Factory stakeholders, to ensure smooth products flow in the network from factories to markets, including managing relations with Imperial Brands 3PL providers where required
- Identify potential availability issues, assess their business impact, take respective actions and proactively flag them to E2E Planning management and required stakeholders providing mitigation plan update and data required for decision on priorities
- Proactive tracking and reporting of assigned to you E2E Planning projects, including deep dive analysis and mitigation actions proposals, aiming continuous improvement of results
- Ensure correct master data and parameters set up in respective area and systems thanks to regular system parametrization and clean-up activities
- Representing E2E Planning in GSC projects, as well as actively participate in internal initiatives
- Proactively analyse system and procedures in constant seek for improvements and efficiency increase
- Support Business Process owners in E2E Planning in terms of processes management, ensuring they are followed and actively take part in updates in case of improvements/changes required
- Develop and maintain a strategic capacity plan using historical data and trend analysis to anticipate future needs.
- Identify potential constraints, assess risks related to capacity constraints and operational bottlenecks, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to align capacity planning with business goals and develop contingency plans for unexpected risks.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights and strategic recommendations that support senior management in making informed decisions.
- Communicate capacity plans and strategies across the organization to ensure alignment, prevent disruptions, and strengthen business resilience.
Skills and Experience Required
- University degree or technical education in the field of logistics, manufacturing, system management or business education is desirable
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain area in direct selling or FMCG from an international company
- Experience in long term capacity planning/strategic planning/ long term strategic projects is a must
- Supply/Production Planning experience in an international environment and matching profile against skills and competency model is preferable
- Experience in Tobacco company is an advantage
- Fluency in English is a must
- Capability to react on dynamic environment changes and take data driven decisions based on analysis and facts is a must
- Experience and well understanding of planning system solutions (SAP APO, BY, JDA or similar) is a must
- Very good command in MS Office is a must
- Experience in data warehouse, SQL, Excel, Access, Power tables, Power BI is an advantage
