Ready to play a strategic role in global tax compliance?

Imperial Tobacco España is seeking a Local Tax Compliance Expert to join our Centre of Expertise (CoE) in Finance, where you'll oversee and validate the tax compliance efforts across our Spanish entities.

Location: Madrid - Hybrid

Principal Accountabilities

• Lead and validate compliance deliverables (CIT, VAT, real estate tax) prepared by external providers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with our Centers of Capability (CoC) and Managed Service Providers (MSP) to ensure seamless delivery and legal compliance.
• Advise on the impact of tax law changes, offering practical and risk-aware solutions.
• Support in managing audits, controversies, and negotiations with Spanish tax authorities.
• Ensure excellence by identifying improvements in tax processes and controls.

Skills and Experience Required

• Degree in Economics or Law; Certified Tax Advisor.
• Relevant tax experience, ideally in a multinational or Big Four firm.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish and international tax law.
• Proven experience in cross-functional and international team environments.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, data flows, and compliance systems.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
